You might want to be more productive, but remember not to run yourself down. Here are a few things that will help keep your energy up, and anxiety levels low:
- Drink little to no coffee and limit yourself to certain kinds of tea (switch to camomille for example)
- Exercise for 20 mins in the morning. Try a minimum of three times a week.
- Have a carrot orange cucumber shake or other vegetable mix instead of twinkies
- Limit your intake in high fructose corn syrup
- Sit for five minutes and do nothing (fine, 'meditation' sounds fancier)
- Go swimming
- Drink lots of water
- Plant something
- Adopt a snail
- Make a toothpick sculpture
- Make a card sculpture
- Go for a ride in the middle of nowhere
- Go for a walk in the middle of somewhere
- Obtain one of these weird therapy lamps
- Read a book
- Turn off the news
- Make a fort out of pillows and blankets, then sit under it at night with a flashlight. If anyone asks about the makeshift hideout in the middle of your living room, don't explain.
